How to connect
Takes about five minutes in SuccessFactors and needs your system administrator. You will copy two values across: a username and a password for a dedicated API account.

- 1Ask your SuccessFactors administrator to create a dedicated API user account in Admin Center under User Management. Do not reuse a personal login.
- 2In Admin Center, open OData API Basic Authentication Configuration and turn Basic Authentication on for that API user. It is off by default.
- 3On the SuccessFactors sign in screen, click Show version information to find your Company ID and your API server address (for example api12.successfactors.eu). You will need both in the next step.
- 4Paste your API server address, your API username written as apiuser@YourCompanyID, and the password below.
