How to connect
This one is a job for whoever administers your Workday tenant, not something you can do from your own login. It takes about ten minutes in Workday and produces five values, not one, because Workday keeps its Recruiting API behind its own admin console rather than a single settings page.

- 1Ask your Workday administrator to search "Register API Client" in Workday and create a new client named "Nuromi", choosing the Recruiting functional area for its scope.
- 2Workday shows a Client ID and a Client Secret once, straight after creation. Copy both immediately, the secret cannot be viewed again afterwards.
- 3If one does not already exist, your administrator sets up an Integration System User (ISU) with access to the Recruiting security domain.
- 4Using the Client ID and Client Secret from the previous step, your administrator runs "Generate Refresh Token" against that ISU and copies the refresh token it produces.
- 5Also note your Workday hostname (the address you sign in with, for example wd3-impl-services1.workday.com) and your short tenant name (for example acme). Paste all five values below: hostname, tenant, Client ID, Client Secret, and refresh token.
