Accounting & Finance
Odoo Accounting + Nuromi
Connect Odoo Accounting and Nuromi pulls its invoices, bills, accounts into live dashboard widgets and plain-English AI insights, alongside every other accounting & finance tool and system you run.
What connecting Odoo Accounting does
- Odoo Accounting's invoices, bills, accounts, journal entries become live widgets on your dashboard, refreshed automatically instead of exported by hand.
- Nuromi reads across accounting & finance data from Odoo Accounting to surface AI insights, not just charts, so patterns worth attention are flagged before they become problems.
- Built for how General Smb, Manufacturing, Retail businesses actually use Odoo Accounting, sitting next to whatever else you connect.
- Connects with a key or token you generate inside Odoo Accounting. Nuromi never writes back, the connection is read-only.
How to connect
Odoo needs four things, not one, because it has to know which database and login the key belongs to.
Open Odoo Accounting(opens in a new tab)
Opens the sign-in page in a new tab. Come back here when you have your code.
- 1Sign in to your own Odoo at your own address, such as yourcompany.odoo.com. If you self-host, use your own server address instead, the link above will not reach it.
- 2Click your profile icon, top right, then Preferences or My Profile.
- 3Open the Account Security tab, find API Keys, and click New API Key.
- 4Confirm your password, name it Nuromi, generate it, and copy it immediately. Odoo will not show it again.
- 5Also note your database name, usually the part of your address before .odoo.com, and the username you sign in with.
- 6Enter the address, database and username in the boxes above, and the key below. Odoo needs all four.
- 7Check your plan first. Odoo does not offer external API access on One App Free or Standard, only on Custom, and no key will work without it.
