How to connect
Odoo needs four things, not one, because it has to know which database and login the key belongs to.

Opens the sign-in page in a new tab. Come back here when you have your code.
- 1Sign in to your own Odoo. If you self-host, use your own server address, the link above only reaches Odoo Online.
- 2Click your profile icon, top right, then Preferences or My Profile.
- 3Open the Account Security tab, find API Keys, and click New API Key.
- 4Confirm your password, name it Nuromi, generate, and copy it immediately. It is shown once.
- 5If you sign in to Odoo with Google or single sign-on and have never set a password, set one first under Settings, Users and Companies, Users. Without a password the key will not authenticate, which is the most common reason this fails.
- 6Enter your Odoo address, database name and login in the boxes above, and the key below. Odoo needs all four.
