What connecting Deputy does
- Deputy locations become your sites, and published shifts and approved timesheet hours fill Roster and Attendance, refreshed automatically every few hours.
- Nuromi reads hours, never pay rates, from Deputy, so labour cost comes from your payroll or accounting connection and Deputy hours sit beside it on the same dashboards.
- Leave approved in Deputy shows on today's coverage view, so who is away today is visible before shifts start.
- Works alongside payroll, accounting, and safety connectors so workforce data sits in the same brain as the rest of the business.
How to connect
Deputy connects with one-click sign-in. From the Connections page, choose Deputy and sign in with Deputy itself; your Deputy password is never shared with Nuromi. If you would rather not connect, upload a Deputy export and Nuromi will read that instead.

Common questions
- Does Nuromi change rosters in Deputy?
- No. The connection is read-only. Nuromi reads locations, employees, published shifts, approved timesheet hours and approved leave, and never writes changes back to Deputy.
- Can I see labour cost against revenue with Deputy connected?
- Not from Deputy alone. Nuromi reads Deputy hours, never pay rates, so labour cost comes from a payroll or accounting connection such as Xero or MYOB. Deputy hours then sit beside those figures on the same dashboards.
